Please update us! That was the challenge from Tom Finaly at TUI University. The challenge was not only to give TUI a more professional and up-to-date visual image, but also to make sure that prospective students was able to find the information they need as quick as possible. The ultimate goal was to make sure that adult learners filled out the online application or contacted them. With over 400 pages of information, the editing of the existing copy from the previous site was a major task. Not only was it extremely tedious, but it also required us to make sure that documents written by different faculty members became consistent overall. The amount of content provided a special challenge for the navigation and flow of the site. But with the help of intens flowcharting, testing, redesign and "dummy sites", we made a complex site much simpler.
Video also plays a major role on the new site, making the explanation of what they do, the benefits, the design of courses, and their understanding of what students go through easy to understand. Each video can also become full screen with a click.
